Pathway to Peace News Update Fall 2011
God Fulfilling His Vision
As the leaves gradually change into brilliant colors of orange, red, and yellow to usher in a season of thanksgiving and praise, we want to thank God for the GREAT things He has done. It is amazing and a blessing to see how the vision that God has given this ministry is being fulfilled. In 2002, Pathway to Peace Ministries started on a local radio station in Charlotte, NC. In 2004, God said to continue expand radio and add a television program. So in 2005, we moved to Michigan to learn how to do it. We started our television broadcast and God set up a media team from three of the local churches to help us. God always opened the doors as we moved forward by faith to do His will. In 2006, God gave us the vision to start a Bible and health evangelism school and lifestyle health retreat with supporting industries, and land in a country setting. In 2007, with faith and vision in hand, God sent us back to North Carolina. About a month after our arrival, God opened the doors to do a summer camp to help youth to learn more about Jesus, healthy living and help them academically. This summer we completed our fifth summer camp that was featured on a state television broadcast. Also, God opened up the doors to work with our local health department to teach exercising, nutritional training, and cooking classes in many local churches. In 2009, God opened the door for us to move onto 43 acres of land with two houses, cabin and a beautiful pond. We had to lease the property, because we did not have the money to buy, but we knew God would provide. After two years of work and improvements, it appeared from human eyes that the vision would come to an end. Much money was needed, but through a series of miracles God made it happen. In February 2011, God completed the purchase! Also, this past August, the College of Bible and Health Evangelism started! Hear what some of our students are saying about their experience so far. “A warm and loving atmosphere with devoted team members whose minds are on the mission ahead!” says Maggie Ovesen. Jordan Morse says, “It is Christ that is taught here, and it is He who leads me every where I go. This school teaches the highest education and is of true excellence.” The vision, that God has given, is being fulfilled. God is faithful. We like to thank you for your prayers and contributions.
